I am a practically oriented thinker, researcher, advisor, and educator in the field of organizational change and development. I draw inspiration from theory and empirical research on concrete change processes in practice. At Ami, there is a wealth of case studies available, allowing me to learn a lot even while in an advisory role. I connect theory and practice and hope to add value on both sides.
I have a “developmental perspective.” I see the potential in projects, people, and organizations. Through analysis, questions, and suggestions, I can help advance any project. By nature, I am a quiet observer and only spring into action once I believe I have processed and understood the essence of a problem or opportunity. I appreciate solid, well-thought-out work, so I often assist in structuring and analytically grounding a chosen approach. Therefore, the role of consigliere suits me best as an advisor. I believe that those who truly understand and have experienced something can articulate it simply. From there, it’s about “doing what needs to be done.” Taking action in a complex, changing reality requires both a clear mind and agility. This transforms change and development into a “thoughtful adventure.”
My view of organizational development is distinctly one of experimenting and learning so that together we acquire the new capabilities necessary to survive in tomorrow’s world. Through advising, facilitating, and coaching, I enjoy helping individuals and organizations muster the courage and mentality to embark on such adventures, both in the advisory practice and in the classroom.
