Ensuring that everything runs perfectly, without losing sight of the people, processes, or goals involved—that’s what I find exciting. I see myself as the Partner in Crime for our clients and for my colleagues. A Partner in Crime creates the right conditions for success, and every day I am focused on realizing monumental ambitions.
As a Partner in Crime, I know exactly which moves we want to make, I have a clear plan in mind, and I ensure that the escape vehicle is ready to bring the plan to a successful conclusion. I also identify the key risks (and of course, I have a backup plan for each risk, because a Partner in Crime must be able to respond quickly to whatever comes our way).
What I find particularly important when we’re working together to bring in the goods (and feel the pressure of the sirens in the distance) is sensitivity. It’s about being aware of one another and the people around us. Is everyone still on board? Are we all doing exactly what we excel at? I continuously scan the environment and pay attention to the individuals in our team.
